by

High Tower Holdings, a U.S.-based firm, has announced plans to collaborate with the Akwa Ibom State government to establish a state-of-the-art medical facility in Uyo, focusing on heart-related conditions and emergency healthcare.

Dr. Marshall Umoren, the visionary behind High Tower Holdings, revealed that this initiative aligns with Governor Umo Eno’s call for Akwa Ibom indigenes in the diaspora to contribute to the state’s development.

The proposed facility, centered on cardiovascular health, seeks to bridge the gap in critical healthcare services in the state. Dr. Umoren stated that, after evaluating Akwa Ibom’s health sector, the company recognized the urgent need for specialized heart health services and emergency care.

Governor Eno, during a recent visit to Akwa Ibom communities in Tennessee, USA, urged indigenes to invest in their home state, stressing the importance of contributing to Akwa Ibom’s growth. Dr. Umoren affirmed that High Tower Holdings is committed to supporting this vision by upgrading and enhancing the state’s healthcare infrastructure, particularly in the area of cardiovascular medicine.

This partnership represents a significant step towards improving access to life-saving heart treatments and will contribute to the broader development of healthcare services in Akwa Ibom.
