Former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi visited Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, to extend his condolences to Governor Umo Eno following the loss of his wife, Pastor Mrs. Patience Eno, the state’s First Lady.
Expressing sorrow, Obi stated, “I made a solemn trip to Uyo to personally pay my last respects to the beloved wife of the Governor and First Lady of the state.” He also conveyed his heartfelt sympathy to Governor Eno and the people of Akwa Ibom, acknowledging the profound grief.
“In moments of grief like this, words often fail us,” Obi reflected, offering prayers for the Governor and his family. On behalf of his wife, Margaret, and the Obidient family, Obi pledged continued support and prayers for strength during this challenging time.
Obi’s visit highlighted solidarity and compassion for the grieving state and its leadership.
