NNPC E&P and NOSL Offer Scholarships to 345 Students in Akwa Ibom

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Exploration and Production (NNPC E&P) and Natural Oilfield Services Limited (NOSL) have awarded scholarships to 345 students from 15 higher institutions in Onna Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.

The initiative is part of their commitment to giving back to host communities.

The scholarship recipients include final-year students and students with special needs. The aim of the scholarship program is to support financially disadvantaged students and nurture their knowledge to become future leaders and contributors to their communities.

Mr. Ubong Etti, Base Manager at NOSL, emphasized the importance of investing in education, stating that students are the leaders and workforce of tomorrow. By providing scholarships, NNPC E&P and NOSL are working to bridge the educational gap in their host communities and create a holistic educational environment.

The scholarship recipients were encouraged to make the most of this opportunity and consider it an investment in their future. The Executive Chairman of Akwa Ibom State Universal Basic Education Board (AKSUBEB), Rt. Hon. (Elder) Anietie Etuk, commended NNPC E&P and NOSL for their commitment to the state’s future by investing in education.

The event was attended by local government officials and community representatives, highlighting the collaborative effort to support education in the region and empower students to achieve their goals.
