Ibom Air, a commercial airline owned by the Akwa Ibom State Government, has issued an apology to its customers who were affected by disrupted services on a recent Thursday.
In a statement posted on the airline’s Facebook page, the Director of Airline Services, Amaka Echetabu, expressed their most sincere apologies for the service disruption.
The airline explained that they had experienced several days of service disruptions due to unexpected incidents of aircraft maintenance but did not provide specific details regarding the affected flights. They acknowledged that it was not their proudest moment and offered an unreserved apology for the inconvenience caused.
Ibom Air, which recently expanded its operations with the launch of Nigeria-Ghana flights, is known for its scheduled reliability and punctuality. The apology was commended by many, including former federal lawmaker Onofiok Luke, who praised the airline for taking responsibility and its commitment to excellence.
