Governor Emmanuel sets up committee on census

The governor of Akwa Ibom State, Udom Emmanuel, has established a committee to ensure the success of the upcoming national census of the population.

The chairman of the committee, Emmanuel Ekuwem, is said in a statement by Information and Strategy Commissioner Iniobong Ememobong.

A seamless census is to be ensured through the 10-man committee’s communication with the National Population Commission.

The committee is comprised of commissioners for the Bureau of Political and Social Reorientation, Economic Development, Information and Strategy, Women Affairs and Social Development, Rural Development and Cooperatives, and Special Advisor for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.

Others are Abat High School, Abat Town, Etim Ekpo Local Government; Community Comprehensive High School, Obo Atai, Nsit Ibom Council;
Christian Community Secondary School, Okoyo, Ukanafun Local Government; The Apostolic Church High School, Esit Urua, Eket Council;

Ibiono Ibom Community Secondary School, Ibiaku Ikpedip, Ibiono Ibom Local Government; Community Primary School, Atabrikang, Eastern Obolo Council; Itak Peoples High School, Itak, Ikono Local Government and Secondary School, Oku Iboku, Itu Local Government.
