Enyimba Football Club of Aba secured a dominant 4-1 victory over the Black Bulls of Mozambique in a CAF Confederation Cup match held in Akwa Ibom State on Sunday.

The win was a strong response after a 3-0 loss to the Black Bulls in December 2024 in Maputo.

The match kicked off with Enyimba taking the lead in the 6th minute through Joseph Atuleโ€™s early goal. However, a defensive lapse allowed the Black Bulls to equalize in the 12th minute, courtesy of E. Ifoni.

Enyimba regained the advantage in the 45th minute as Ifeanyi Ihemekwele scored just before halftime, ending the first half 2-1 in favor of the Nigerian side.

The second half saw the Elephants push for more goals, and they were rewarded in the 67th minute when new signing and former Super Eagles striker, Brown Ideye, made it 3-1.

The victory was sealed in the 89th minute when Joseph Atule scored his second goal of the match, bringing the final score to 4-1. The result was a jubilant one for Enyimba fans, who celebrated their teamโ€™s decisive performance.
