Clement Jimbo Honored with Community Service Award by Akwa Ibom Community, Abuja

Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on National Planning & Economic Development, Clement Jimbo, has received a Community Service Award in recognition of his legislative contributions and commitment to Nigeria’s development.

The award was presented during the 2024 Akwa Ibom Cultural Fiesta held at the Akwa Ibom House, Abuja. Engr. Benedict Ukpong, Federal Commissioner of the National Population Commission, commended Jimboโ€™s impactful performance in the National Assembly, describing him as a credit to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

โ€œJimbo has consistently made positive contributions on the floor of the House, and we encourage him to continue this commendable work,โ€ Ukpong stated while presenting the award.

In his acceptance speech, Jimbo, who represents Abak/Etim Ekpo/Ika Federal Constituency, expressed gratitude to the Akwa Ibom Community in Abuja for the recognition. He dedicated the award to his constituents, appreciating their trust and support, and pledged to continue advocating for meaningful policies and development initiatives in the National Assembly.
