… As Stakeholders Declare Support
Governorship candidate of the PDP in Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno has promised to remodel the different tourism sites in Mbo LGA when elected into office, adding that Mbo will become a tourist haven.
Speaking at the campaign rally in Mbo LGA, Pastor Eno said the area is blessed with nice beaches which would be upgraded for socio-economic benefits.
He noted that those who are willing to do business will be supported with the necessary tools, stressing that as industrialization is to Governor Emmanuel, entrepreneurship will be the driving spirit of the next administration.
The seasoned entrepreneur assured everyone that government efforts would be intensified to ensure that the deep seaport project becomes a reality, adding that youths in the area would be trained to adequately prepare them for the numerous opportunities that would be available in the area.
He maintained that arrangements will be made with the concessionaire to revamp the Ebuhu Fishing Terminal despite being an FG- owned facility.
In his remarks, the State Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel appreciated the people of Mbo for the support given him since the beginning of his administration, and especially during his reelection bid in 2019.
Governor Emmanuel who was represented by his deputy, Mr. Moses Ekpo noted that Mbo has always been a PDP stronghold.
Earlier in their separate remarks, the Director- General of campaigns, Ambassador Assam Assam and the State party chairman, Elder Aniekan Akpan said PDP remains the only organized party in the country, and urged the people of Mbo to vote for PDP at all levels beginning from Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for President, Pastor Umo Eno for Governor and to the National and state assembly candidates.
On their part, the stakeholders of Mbo including, Prof Okon Eminue,Hon. Asuquo Eyo, Prince Chris Abasieyo Bishop Etim Ante, Chief Akan Eyo, Alice Ekpenyong and SSG, Dr. Emmanuel Ekuwem commended Governor Emmanuel for his developmental strides in the area.
They affirmed that Mbo will vote and deliver PDP at all levels.
