First Lady of Akwa Ibom State, Mrs Martha Emmanuel has presented Pastor (Mrs) Patience Eno, wife of the Commissioner for Lands and Water Resources to the female political class in the state as her would-be-successor.
Our reporter gathered that the presentation was held on Wednesday at Banquet Hall, Government House, Uyo.
Wednesday’s event was an affirmation that the first family are clear on their preferred successors and galvanising support for their choice.

Ahead of the gubernatorial election, Mrs Martha Emmanuel urged those present at the meeting to give Umo Eno’s wife all the necessary support for her to succeed, stating that she will be an able successor as First Lady of the state.
Present at the meeting were female political appointees, female elected political office holders, wives of government appointees and those of elected officials.
